Not in a church pew with easy answers, but in the pits and valleys where all I had was the belief that tomorrow could be better. For years, I wrestled with father-daughter relationships that left me feeling unchosen, unprovided for, and wondering why connection always felt just out of reach. I spent decades asking the wrong question: “Why is this happening to me?”

Then, at 34, after rededicating my life through baptism, Abba gave me a revelation that changed everything. He reminded me who my true Father had always been—the One who never left my side, who provided when others couldn’t, who chose me when I felt overlooked, and who wrapped me in unconditional love even when I didn’t know how to love myself. The earthly fathers who fell short weren’t just painful memories. They were shaping me to recognize the only Father I ever truly needed.

That’s when the question changed. Instead of “Why me?” I began asking “What are You teaching me through this?”

My faith didn’t come easy. There were lessons and heartbreaks I had to walk through to finally come out on the other side knowing—really knowing—that my faith can move mountains. And now? I write to help you make that same shift.
